Day 5: Lands End and a Theatre on the Cliff edge.

July 3rd

After forgetting to wake up for the midnight feast, we had a sleep instead. We later woke up and had breakfast (I had Weetabix, Cheerios and nutella on toast). We then had a little play and we practiced for our talent show which we are having soon. I can't wait. I'm the announcer.
It was about a 30 minute drive to Land's End. It was bigger than I imagined and very exciting to be furthest place in all of the United Kingdom. I had some pictures and then found a play area where there were two zip lines, we had great fun there, followed by a lunch I'd strawberries, apple, grapes, sandwiches and crisps. Just the job!

After that we went on a short drive through narrow country lanes and we got to a place high above the sea, called Minack Theatre. It was spectacular- I could not believe that there was a Theatre there! It was outside and had no roof! It felt a bit scary to be on the cliff edge and we had to be so careful where we walked. I would love to come back and watch a play there someday. There is a picture of it below.

Soon, we nipped to Mousehole. It is a village with beautiful houses and there is a lot of fishing there. We played on the beach (bulldog, stuck in the mud and Octopus) and loved running around on the sand.

We have now come back to the house for a spot of tea, a shower and a BIG rest!

We couldn't go any further!
